I’m so glad I’ve decided to go for class today. Though I’m still unable to master all the tricks, at least I tried my best, and had a fantastic workout!
I lost my spin climb to upside down v again :(. The routine for Inter 3 is so fast, and makes me so anxious! Ok.. excuses. I just need to practice and practice and practice. 3 new tricks today. Candy, right leg hang, and elbow stand. Verdict: I got Candy Crushed and my head hurts due to elbow stand. Consolation is I’m able to get right leg hang on my first try. I guess it’s coz right leg is my stronger leg, and I seem more comfortable doing right leg hang compared to left leg hang.
I must try to do these before the term ends!
- Spin climb to upside down v, with pointed legs!
- Candy – not crushed
- Elbow stand
- Work on nicer spin climb
Will add on the list if there’s more.
Here’s a “cheatsheet” on how we can do Candy. But then again, she makes it look so easy! I can’t even get my legs pass the pole! 😦
Tech class is fantastic too! Instructor H, who is very particular about lines, taught us how to do our climbs with feet pointed, and how to do our beginners and Inter 1 tricks nicely. I’m so happy I’m able to do a slight hang, and place my legs on the pole before spin climb, instead of jumping onto the pole like a monkey climbing a tree. Sadly H will be gone for a month. Wonder who will be taking over her class next week.
All in all, FANTASTIC pole-xercise today!!
On a lighter note, my Dirdy Birdy stuff has arrived!!! I have pretty pole tops and shorts to wear for my next class! That’s another good thing about pole dancing. You have an excuse to shop! Woohoo!! 😀
